1980s USA Basketball Player Ceramic Ornament

From the 1980s roughly, we have this quite unique ceramic ornament of a USA Basketball player hiding the ball. Made in the USA. Can’t quite make out the sculptor’s name but looks like ‘Launa’. From the research I’ve done looks like quite a rare piece and a great collectible for any fan of the sport!
